## Luxous and LED

## What makes this pairing a perfect match?

In recent years, there has been a significant shift in greenhouse lighting from HPS to LED technology. The reason for this transition is clear: LED lamps convert electrical energy into growth-promoting light far more efficiently than HPS lamps, offering substantial energy savings. As energy costs rise, this efficiency becomes increasingly valuable to growers.

Our latest white paper explores the shift from HPS to LED and how energy-saving climate screens optimize greenhouse conditions. It also covers:

- The superior energy efficiency of LED versus HPS and strategies for managing reduced heat emissions.
- Using high light transmission curtains to compensate for lower heat and enhance energy savings, specifically Svensson's Luxous screen.
- An in-depth look at the types of light emitted by LED technology.
- How active dehumidification systems optimize greenhouse climates by improving moisture control.

For growers transitioning from HPS to LED, here are the benefits
of combining LEDs with a Luxous screen and the ClimaFlow dehumidification system:

Increased energy efficiency and savings.

Lower radiation with
high light.

Improved moisture control.

Flexible PAR settings for healthier plants.
