Greenhouse preparation
A good preparation is half the battle
- Any freight damage or losses must be reported immediately to the freight carrier and indicated on the freight documents. All damage claims must be filed with the freight company.
- Do not lift rolls with a forklift truck or drag them on the floor to prevent damage to the product.
- Unless installed immediately, store the rolls in a dry place, out of the sun.
- Strengthen the greenhouse construction
- Prepare wire bed installation
- Distance lower wire & upper wire. 40/40 (CM).40/80 (CM)
- Ensure a safe work environment
Using the right polyester wire to ensure that it won’t decrease the screen lifespan

Use a clamping device to ensure a tight installation.

Make use of the right suspension plate to ensure right distance between wires

Plastic wire à to install clip tube & cold fall screen
Stainless wire à to install screen hooks
WHY IMPORTANT? Stainless wires are important to prevent wear on wire by screen hooks
Wire-bed upper and lower wires
Understand what the climate screen strategy of your grower is to define the distance between the wires.
Lower wires always have a distance of 40 cm
Upper wires can have a difference between 40 or 80 cm, depending needs and strategy of the grower
