Pieter Mol, Greenhouse Climate Consultant

Pieter Mol joined Svensson in 2016 as a Climate Consultant, bringing more than 30 years of horticultural experience to growers around the world. He works closely with growers and installers to develop climate and screening strategies that help create the right growing conditions for each crop, greenhouse, and region. His expertise includes climate management, screen selection, and helping growers balance temperature, humidity, and light to support crop performance.

Pieter's life has largely revolved around horticulture. Growing up in the Netherlands' renowned Westland region, he studied horticulture (flowers and vegetables) and worked directly in the industry before moving into advisory roles. Prior to joining Svensson, Pieter held several international positions with Syngenta Flowers, gaining extensive experience working with growers across a wide range of crops and climates. Today, he helps growers navigate climate challenges ranging from high-radiation environments in Southern Europe and the Middle East to advanced greenhouse production throughout Europe, drawing on experience gained across a wide range of greenhouse technologies and production systems.
